The Invasion Of China
The Invasion of China started on July 7th 1937, which was the Republic of China vs. The Empire of Japan. This was also called the Second Sino-Japanese War because of the first one in 1894-1895. The Japanese wanted to have a greater sphere of influence politically and militarily to gain access to materials. The war started with the Marco Polo Bridge Incident of 1937.

The invasion of Poland
The Invasion of Poland was the Start of World War 2 and With the Geramn Blitzkrieg offensive, they conquered nearly every country nearby. Poland was the first to fall and it started on September 9th 1939. In the fews that followed Poland was immediately conquered by the German Army.

The Blitzkrieg was a major offensive used by the Germans from 1939- 1940 to conquer all the major lands around Germany, In less than months he already conquered Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Poland and the Last to conquer France. After so they failed to conquer Britain with it since they had Radar Technology. -
The Fall of Paris
There was many battles of France but the German Bliztkrieg showed it as too much for the French Army to handle. Soon as Germany marched onto Paris, France signed a armistice so Germany wouldnt bomb most of the artwork in Paris.

Operation Barabossa
On Junne 22, 1941 a year after The fall of Paris. Germany turned around on his treaty with the Soviet Union and pushed through Western Soviet Russia. This was a turning point for the War in Europe because Germany had two fronts to fight in, spreading out its forces.

Pearl Harbor
The Attack on Pearl harbor was the Signal for the United States to join the War and a turning point for American Ideals. Hundreds of Japanese planes bommbed and attacked the harbor. In the two hours it lasted, 1000 were injured another 200 were dead. Two days later America Declared War on Japan.

Wannsee Conference
On January 20th, 1941 Senior Officials held a meeting in suburb Germany to decide what to do with the Jewish in Europe? They decided to Deport them all into Poland and murder them, as The Final Solution. The concenntration camps began and millions were sent.

The Bataan Death March
The Phillipines was attacked the same day as Pearl Harbor but after, there was a full scale invasion. On April 9th 1942 76,000 Prisoners including 12.000 American Captives, were forced to march up North to thier death. 1000s died during the walk, the weak couldn't be helped by the strong during the march and many captives were tortured in the blazing sun with little food and water.

The Battle of Midway
The Battle of Midway was a very strong a decisive battle in World war two when the American battle ships sunk 4 of the Japan Carriers and damaging thier Naval Strength. Most of the Carriers were destroyed by the U.S.S. Yorktown. Now seeing Japanese carriers were vital in the Pacific Campaign and it would be a struggle trying to replace one carrier even though 4 were destroyed.

Battle of Stalingrad
The Battle of Stalingrad lasted over 6 months and was the best battle in the conflict, showing the turning point in favor in the Allies. It started July 7, 1942 adn ended Feburary 2, 1943. The turn in the tide was Hitler's mistake of having his General Paulus to stand their ground as Soviet General Zukhov planned a counteroffensive, encircling and pushing onto them and Paulus surrendered what was left of his men, 90 thousand.

Allied's Invasion of Italy
Secret;y, Italy's Gov't surrendered to the Allied's demands but wasn't announced until September 8th, 1943. On July 10th, Alllied troops invaded throught the "toe" of Italy and was pushing North, by the beginning of 1943 Italy wanted peace wit the Allies but German troops were enforcing and stopped Italians from overthrowing Mussolini and his Facist regime. Allied troops conquered Rome on April 28th 1944.

Operation Gomorrah
The Bombing of Hamburg caused a Firestorm by the Royal airforce and The U.S. airforce. The RAF used "Window" to jam German Radar and bombed all throughout Hamburg. The German Workforce after the battle was cut by nearly 10% and during the raid a million fled the raid.

D-Day Invasion
More than 160,000 troops landed on the beach of Normandy and ran through the 50 mile wide beach to get close to German troops. Eisenhower called the operation by getting "nothing less than full voctory". It was costly as 9 thousand allied troops were wonded or dead and 100 thousand pushed through the beach onto continental Europe.

Battle of the Bulge
The last offensive attack on the Allies by the German army, a quarter milion troops tried another blitzkrieg on Allied troops. They tried to split the Allies using their method in the Ardennes forest. It was the costliest battle the U.S. Troops suffered. Though the shortage of fuel and push by Allies had the Germans to pull away.

Operation Thunderclap
Operation ThunderClap was a Mission discussed but unused in World war 2. It was going to bomb Berlin to shatter German Morale but Allied leaders were still focused on the war in the PAcific so they didnt use it. ANd Pushed more forces into Japan.

Battle of Iwo Jima
It lasted until March 26th, 1945, the battle of Iwo Jima is when the Allied took the Island of Iwo Jima from the Imperial Army of Japan. After the battle Japan took nearly three times as much causualties than the United States did. The defeat of Japan was assured when the U.s had Air superiority and overwelhmed the Japanese forces.

Battle of Okinawa
The battle of Okinawa was the airforce command of Japan and during the battle it was the largest supported by air and sea forces.
While the Allied troops took about 14 thousand in casualties, Japanese took 74,000 as casualties as death or suicide.

On May 8th, 1945 many celebrated the end of the war in Europe as it was announced. There was many celebrations throughout Europe and Winston Churchill reminded that japan still needs to be defeated but they celebrated that the WW2 was over. -

As the War ended in Europe the United States asked for a Uncondition surreder of japanese forces or face "prompt and utter destruction." When the Japanese ignored the warning "Little boy" Was dropped on August 6th in Hiroshima and the second one, "Fat Man" was dropped on August 9th, 1945.

On August 15, It was Announced that the War with Japan was officially over. The formal surrender was at Toyko Bay on the U.S.S. Missouri on September 2nd, 1945.
