Germany and Poland's war
This war was the beginning of World War ll. Also after Germany invaded Poland it was a chain reaction for Germany to also start invading many other western countries in Europe which makes this invasion even more important. I feel this war was an important event because it shows the start for Germanys invasions. This is important because it was the start of how Germany took control of many other countries, and this was intense, and very tragic event. -
Hitler conquers most of western Europe
This event is very important because it shows how much power Hitler had, and also shows how people thought he was so superior. Although it was important my opinion is that it is very sad that nobody was able to stop Hitler. Hitler shut off the rest of the world to Germany to make himself seem better, which made people think what he did was always right. This event shows how people either thought he was great so they wouldn't dare stop him, or were to afraid. -
Soviet Union and Germany war
This was a very intense war against the Soviet Union and Germany. This war was a big war, and was actually apart of World War ll. Even though Germany and the Soviet Union had the same dislike views for the outcome of World War l, that didn't stop them from disagreeing on other subjects. The war had caused many people to die from starvation, being over-worked, disease, and physical injuries. This brought down both teams and also hurt many families.. -
Pearl Harbor
This is a very tragic and important event because it was when Japan had bombed Pearl Harbor unexpectedly, and killed many soldiers and citizens. This event had killed many people and had afected many others. This event was not only important because of how tragic it was, but also how surprising it was. The U.S. had no idea that Japan was going to do this, and Japan was starting to become very vicious. The Pearl Harbor bombing had lead to other things and caused a chain reaction. -
D-Day
A D-Day is a military term, and also a day to remember a combat attack. My opinion is that this is important because it freed some of the Europeans. The most prominate D-Day is the Normandy landing. This was when the Western allies wanted to take western Europe out of the Nazi control. This is important because it is a very popularly used term in the military, and the event that goes with it allowed western Europe to be freed of Nazi power, which is a major event in European history. -
U.S. bombs Japan
Japan had tragically bombed Pearl Harbor, and had affected many in the U.S. Japan had began to become a little out of control, and also the fact of how much depression they had brought upon the United States. These events caused the United States to come to the conclusion that they had to bomb Japan. This is important because sometimes fighting fire with fire is the only thing you have left to do, and it may help out more than it may seem to. Japan had now became just as depressed as the U.S.
