Japan Invades China
When Japan invaded China, this started the Second Sino-Japanese War. Japan opened fire on China near the Marco Polo Bridge in Wanping. Japan was more advanced with their weapons and their soldiers started to hurt the civilians of China. Rape of Nanking
During the Sino-Japanese War, Nanking was ordered to be destroyed. Germany Invades Poland

Pearl Harbor
During this time and before this attack the United States was not involved in WWII. It was until Japan decided to bomb our base Pearl Harbor which is located near Honolulu Hawaii. Bataan Death March
The day afterJapan bombed Pearl Harbor, Japan decided to invade the Phillipeans. A year later the United States was there to help the Phillipeans but surrendered to Japan. The Japanese forced the civilians of the Phillipeans and U.S. soldiers walk 65 miles in harsh weather to the prison camps. Six months after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, the United States and Japan got into a naval war called the Battle of Midway. The Battle of Stalingrad was a battle between Russia and Nazi troops from Germany and the axis powers. Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
Warsaw Poland was overtaken but German Nazi's. Warsaw's community was filled with Jewish people and the Jews revolted against the Nazis. They revolted because they didn't want to get sent to a camp. During WWII the allies had an operation called Operation Overload. This operation started on D-day which is a code name for what day this operation started on. If it was two days after d-day it would be known as 2+day.
