    During 1939, Germany overran Europe and was relying on a military skill. German forces tried out Blitzkrieg in Poland before invasion of Belgium. When Britain and France reacted to German invasion they believed that the attack was to reclaim their lost.     In 1939 Paris started preparing for war when Nazi Germany invaded when the Germans attacked France and defeated the French army.     On January 20, 1942 Nazi party and government officials gathered at the Villa of Wannsee to discuss the "final solution of the Jewish question".     Battle of Midway was the turning point in the pacific war. Before the coral sea, the imperial navy of Japan got rid of all it enemies from pacific and indian ocean. This battle fought with almost the whole aircraft in which the U.S. destroyed Japans first line and the best pilots. At the end of the battle, Japan lost four carriers, a cruiser and 292 aircrafts and 2,500 suffered horribly.

    Ghettos in the eastern Europe tried to organize against the Germans and to protect themselves with homemade weapons. In the summer of 42' Jew were deported from Warsaw to Treblinka.     On June 6, 1944 allied forces attacked German forces on the coast of Normandy, France. Their were over 150,000 soldiers the allies won and became World War II in Europe. D-day was a secret mission called "Operation Overlord". Goal was that every soldiers was to drive German military back.     As the second World War crossed Europe they came about these concentration camps filled with weak and starving prisoners. When the soviet soldiers came to Auschwitz and they found hundred of sick and weaken prisoners.     This battle was between the U.S. Marines and the Imperial Army of Japan in the early 1945. American invaded this island had the plan already in motion, they believed it wouldn't last more than a few days. Two airfields on the island was under Japan control that could of been used by Japanese fighters planes attack American bombers on flight to Japan.     On this day both Great Britain and the United States celebrated victory in Europe. May 8th, the Germans troops laid down their forces. More than 8,000 German soldiers lost their lives trying to surrender. This caused the allies to surrender which means it marked the end of WWII in Europe.
