  • The beginning.

    German chancellor of 1933-1945, Adolf Hitler was born in Gasthof zum Pommer, an Inn located in Austria. His older siblings were Gustav, Ida, and Otto. Otto died as an infant. When Hitler was three, the family moved to Passau, Germany.

    He enrolled at the Realschule in Steyr in September 1904, his behavior and performance improved. After Alois's sudden death on 3 January 1903, Hitler's performance at school deteriorated and his mother allowed him to leave.

    In 1909 he lived in a homeless shelter, and by 1910, he had settled into a house for poor working men.
  • Military

    At the outbreak of World War I, Hitler was living in Munich and volunteered to serve in the Bavarian Army as an Austrian citizen. He received the Black Wound Badge on 18 May 1918.
  • German workers party

    He joined the German Workers Party in 1919. After World War I ended, Adolf Hitler returned to Munich. Having no formal education and career prospects, he tried to remain in the army for as long as possible. In July 1919 he was appointed as an intelligence agent of an Aufklärungskommando (reconnaissance commando) of the Reichswehr, to influence other soldiers and to infiltrate the German Workers' Party.
  • Political track

    After World War I, Hitler returned to Munich. Hitler was discharged from the army on 31 March 1920 and began working full-time for the NSDAP. In February 1921 he had already become highly effective at speaking to large audiences, he spoke to a crowd of over 6,000 in Munich.
  • The Socialist party

    In June 1921, while Hitler and Eckart were on a fundraising trip to Berlin, a mutiny broke out within the NSDAP in Munich. Members of its executive committee, some of whom considered Hitler to be too overbearing, wanted to merge with the rival German Socialist Party Hitler returned to Munich on 11 July and angrily tendered his resignation. The committee members realised that his resignation would mean the end of the party although Hitler had agreed to rejoin in the future.

    Hitler wrote a book which explained his life from childhood to adulthood, most of his beliefs and ideals would be explained if someone were to read this and see the point of view he had as time passed.
  • The begining of the end

    Adolf Hitler gave the order to his government to start a nationwide holocaust, he sent many soldiers into cities and small towns, giving directors and officers information about jewish or half jewish families, the orders to his military was to eliminate these families so no more Jewish children could populate his nation. Hitler saw the Jews as dirty people who were unwelcome in society so the only way to get rid of the jewish race was to wipe out every single jewish person alive.
  • Rise to power

    Hitler became dictator of Germany, this influenced the power of the nazi uprise, Hitler sent his people to take control of territories and now his people are at war with the world.
  • "Man of the Year"

    Due to his political dominance and fame around the world, Time magazine named Hitler as "Man of the Year." The magazine describes the actions of his Nazi Party as "ruthless."
  • Declairing war on the United States

    Four days after the Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, Hitler declared war against the U.S. Germany had no agreement with Japan, but Hitler likes the fact that he is now the center of the biggest war the world has ever seen.
  • (Almost) didn't make it!

    Hitler is serious injured when a bomb explodes at his headquarters in Berlin. It is the third assassination attempt against Hitler.
  • Hitler hates his country

    Hitler decides that since Germany has lost the war the country does not deserve to survive. He orders the destruction of the railroads, highways, and other important structures of German industry, but the order is not obeyed.
  • It's over

    Trying to avoid being captured by Soviet troops, Hitler kills himself. He commits suicide by shooting himself in the head while biting down on a poisonous cyanide capsule.
