The USA government provided short-term economic benefits to the German economy and softened the burdens of war reparations. 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics
The opening ceremony was held at the Berlin Olympic Stadium. After the parade of nations and a speech by the president of the German Olympic Committee, the games were declared open by Adolf Hitler.
