Jews have being oppresed in Europe for hundereds of years before Hitle. They were massacred and driven from country to country. -

Alliances, exspecially secret ones, caused all of Europe to get involved in wars relatively fast. -

Hitler has no job, did not make it out of school, was not accepted into art school, and lost his mother in avery short period of time. He sold his painting's on the street, desperate for money. He began blaming all his problems on the Jews, also called anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism- Hostility or Predjudice against Jews. -

Trying to get out of the ditch he was in and give his life structure Adolf Hitler treis to join the Austrian Army. He gets rejected though because the army said he was too weak. -

Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia one month after the killing of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. This sets off a chain of events that leads to a total war. -

After being turned down by the Austria-Hungary army, he enrolls in the German army trying to escape his life. -

Hitler comes back to Germany with a new sense of purpose. He has escaped death twice and is bitter because of Germany's defeat. Feeling the treaty of Versailles is unfair he wants to fight to get it changed but cannot do to forced military cuts. -

Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini takes over Italy in a overthrow of the old government. Hitler looks up to him and uses some of his ideas. This leads to a close bond between the leaders. -

Hitler begins brain-washing kids from 10-15 in order to create a future army and a sense of pride in Germany by making Hitler's style of boy scouts. -
Hitler Goes to Jail
Hitler goes to Jail for trying to overthow Munich. This is where he writes his manifesto, Mein Kampf. Mein Kampf- Hitler's Manifesto where he tells his plan for Germany and his beleif in German Superiority and hatred of Jews. -
The Nazi Party Reunites
Hitler re-establishes the Nazi Party and makes himself as the Führer. -
Hitler Gets Banned From Speaking
Hitler makes a long angry speech about hating Jews, Democracy, and Communism earning him a 2 year suspension from speaking. -
The Stock Market Crashes
Germans can no longer get by making them desperate. Inflation makes money valueless. This leads to greater power for extremists. Perfect conditions for Hitler. Inflation- The downgrade in the worth of a peice of money because of the over abundance of it. -
Nazi's Gain Power
The Nazi's gain 107 seats in government, establishing them as a real political power. -
Japan Becomes a Powerful Force
Japan takes over Northern China and gains many resources needed for war. -
Germany Cannot Pay War Debts.
When Germany can no longer pay back war debts, France takes over their industrial lands. -
The Nazi's Become the Largest Party
The Nazi's now have the most control over the government by getting 13.7 million votes. -
Hitler Youth Grows
After a long parade for support the Hitler Youth Program grows to 107,000 members. -
Roosevelt is Elected President
Roosevelt is elected to try to get America out of the great deppresion, but soon will step up against Germany and Japan. -
The Night of the Long Knives
Hitler takes out all of his political enemies in one fatal swoop, leaving him with no opposition. -
Hitler becomes Chancellor
Hitler become Chancellor of Germany giving him enough power to be considered a dictator. -
Hitler Re-Occupies Rhineland
Hitler takes back the Industrial Rhineland without a fight because the alliews were afraid of war, also called appeasmet. Appeasment- Not doing anything in reaction to a military action because of the fear of war. -

Hitler stupidly attacks Russia after having success in most of Europe. This is the begining of the end for him. -
The V-1 Attack On Great Britian
Germany launced a V-1 attack against Great Britian. V-1's are planes carryng a gigantic one ton war head. It failed miserably. Only one reached it's destination out of the ten sent out. -
Hitler Commits Suicide
After making bad military mistakes. Hitler realizes he has to face the allies or kill himself. He kills himself and his family
