Treaty of Versailles
27 allied nation representatives met to make final settlement. The treaty stated that Germany and Austria-Hungary were guilty for starting the war (Article 231). The Army had to be reduced to 100,00, Cut back Navy, eliminate Air Force. Lands taken from France returned back to France, Eastern German lands will become the new Polish Stae, demilitarized zone of Rhine, and Germany has to pay for everything. -
