This operation was the German plan to take over Soviet Union. The Germans brought many units to the invasion. The Germans ended up failing due to the Soviet Union having an abundance of resources. -
Pearl Harbor
The Attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise attack from Japan. The Japanese pilots bombed many U.S. ships and aircrafts. Many American died as well trying to fend off the Japanese. -
Wannsee Conference
Hitler and the chief of the Central Office of Jewish decided a plan for the Jews. They talked about mass sterilization and other bad things. They ended up deciding to work them to death in concentration camps in Poland. -
Battle of Midway
The battle of Midway was and air-sea battle. It lasted for three days and ended with a U.S. victory over Japan. It turned the tide for the allies on the Pacific. -

This battle was between Russia and Germany with other allied forces. The battle happened in Stalingrad. Over 2 million people were killed during this battle. -

Due to Hitler not surrendering the allied forces made a plan massive attack to end the war. The planned D-Day. During D-Day troops arrived on boat and parachuted onto Normandy Beach. Many allied troops died due to the fortification of the axis, but that did not stop the allies as they won the battle -

After the war the allied powers found the concentration camps and freed the millions of Jews. They found other things that the Germans were hiding. They also found out some experiments that they were doing on the Jews. -

The first of the two bombs was dropped on Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90 percent of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people. The second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki killing around 40,000 people. -

The surrendering of Japan and the end of the war. People around the world rejoice especially the United States. As the U.S. led the Pacific efforts. -
