    The American economy began to surge in 1940. The Government used a variety of measure to finance the war. This included deficit spending, increased taxes, and award bond campaign. The Government's financial policy also included measures to control inflation because the increased employment increased incomes at time.

    The War Advertising Council & the War Finance Committee sought to promote bond sales to finance the War.The work of these World War II organizations produced "the greatest volume of advertising and publicity ever given to any product or agency" in American history.The committees sold over $185 billion of securities. By the end of World War II, over 85 million Americans had invested in War Bonds.Even american children participated. they bought liberty stamps every week in their schools.

    propaganda was a form of art that sends a message to people visually, silently, and also in an auditory form. and actually an influential force throughout WWII & a powerful force in all countries. Propaganda didn't have to be a poster, it is expressed in many forms such as documents, songs, cartoons, artwork, and movies that have triggered different perspectives on issues. but propaganda can be beneficial because it may boost moral, which was very important during WWII.

    Britain used some information from ww1 to generate propaganda. To influence the population towards support for the war effort. A wide range of media was employed, aimed at local and oversea audiences. Traditional forms such as newspapers and posters were joined by new media, newsreels and radio. A wide range of themes were addressed, fostering hostility to the enemy, support for allies, and specific pro war projects such as conserving metal and growing vegetables.

To help build necessary military weapons to win the war, women found employment as electricians, welders and riveters in defense plants. People in the U.S. grew increasingly dependent on radio reports for news of the fighting overseas.

Military production, means everything produced by the belligerents from the occupation of Austria in early 1938 to the surrender and occupation of Japan in late 1945.
