Italy avoided fighting by steting their trity with Austria-Hungary and Germany only stated they had to defend not Attack. until may of 1915 when Italy betrayed their trity's entirly and joined the allies. -

when the canadians arived in october they were given time to prepare. they built a better tranportation system through the mud. and eneded up winning the battle. -

the start of the final period of the first world war. the allies laounched several offensives against central powers. eventually pushing Germany out of france and behind the hindenburg line. -
