After 4 and a half moths training near Cairo the AIF and troops from New Zealand, Britain and France arriveed in Galipoli. They landed at what we now call today ANZAC cove. The eintire point of this deployment was to assist the Britsh Navels who's aim was to force Dardanelles Strait and capture the Turkish capital, Constantinople. Soliders did not have any equpiment for trewnch warefare. All their supplies were brought in by a campain boat but the couldv'e been destroyed by bad weather or Turkish sheeling or could've been delayed. The soliders did make weapons though. -
