The eintire point of this deployment was to assist the Britsh Navels who's aim was to force Dardanelles Strait and capture the Turkish capital, Constantinople. Int he begining of this campain allies tried to break through Turkish lines and the Turrk tried to run the allied troops off the penisula. Both attempts were un succss

    Soliders did not have any equpiment for trewnch warefare. All their supplies were brought in by a campain boat but the couldv'e been destroyed by bad weather or Turkish sheeling or could've been delayed. The soliders did make weapons though.
