Germany viewed the Russian mobilization as an act of war against Austria-Hungary, with whom Germany had a treaty with. -
France enters the war.
France had a treaty with Russia, and soon found themselves fighting against Germany. -
Great Britain enters the war.
Great Britain had a treaty with France to come to their aid. Also, the invasion of Belgium arose tension. -
Australia, South Africa, India, New Zealand, and Canada enters the war.
They all entered WW1 after Britain. They offered military and financial assistance to Britain during the war. -
Japan enters the war.
Japan had a military agreement with Great Britain, which forced them to join war and fight Germany. -
Italy enters the war.
Italy didn't find Germany's acts defensive and wanted to remain neutral. They decided to enter war on the allies side. -
United States enters the war.
Even though trying to remain neutral, the sinking of the Lusitania and the Zimmerman note was enough to push them over the edge.
