    100 Years War
    The 100 years war was fought between the Houe of Plantagenet, England and the Hous of Vaiois, France for control of France. Between 2,300,00 and 3,300,00 people were killed in this war. there were three wars that made up the 100 years war: Edwardian War (1337-1360), Caroline War (1369-1389), the Lancastrian war (1415-1453). This war ended in 1453 with a French vicrtory.

    The Black Death killed 1/3 of the population, weakened the power of the church because people began to question the church, and weakened the system of fedalisim by opening the serfs to leave the land.

    Gutenberg
    Gutenberg was born with the name "Johann Gensfleisc" but he decided to be called "Johann Gutenberg." Gutenberg invented the first movable printing press in the 1450s. Gutenberg was a blacksmith, goldsmith,printer, and publisher. His invention begam the Printing REvolution. This Revolution played a huge role in the outbreak of The Renassiance, Age of Enlightenment, and the Scientific Revolution. His major work was the Gutenberg Bible for itd technical quality.

    Joan was born into a peasant family at Domremy, France. Joan believed that she could communicated with the angels and god. She lead France into battle for the hundred years war against the British. On 23 May, 1430 she was captured by the British, put on trial, found guilty, and burned at the stake, by the Brisitsh for being a "witch."

In the end the Central Powers were defeated, the Ottoman Empire was broken up, the league of Nations was created, and the Treaty of Versailles was signed.

    The Cuban missile crisis was a 13 day confrontation between the US and the Soviet Union over Soviet unions deployed in Cuba, it was the closest the world has ever come to nuclear war. In order to avoid confrontation the US Pres. John F. Kennedy issued a quarantine of Cuba. The confrontation ended with an under the table deal of the US removing their missiles from turkey and the Soviet Union removing their weapons from Cuba

    Napoleon was a French military and political leader. Napoleon dominatef affairs for Europe around 2 decades. He went into the invasion of Russia and came out with a loss, then people started to turn and revolt against him. He was then exiled on April 1814, to the island of Elba. Napoleon rose back up to power for roughly 100 more days before being exiled again to the remote island of Saint Helena where he spent the rest of his life.
