    Betty Friedan
    She was born in Peoria, Illinois.
    She is author of the book "The Feminine Mystique", which is about feminism and the equality between genders.
    She is also founder of the NOW(National Organization for Women, 1966), which was in charge to train new activists to stand up for their rights.
    In 1970, during anniversary of 19th Amendment, she organized a national boycott for gender equality, where about 20.000 women participated. She also pushed to pass the TItle VII Civil Rights Act.
