Miguel Hidalgo tries to defeat the government with a mob. This sparks a rebellion against the Spanish. -

Mexico wins their freedom after 11 years. Now Mexico becomes independent and rules themselves. -

Texans revolt and break away from Mexico. This made Mexico much smaller. -

Mexicans get interested in the idea of politics. They can now vote for their leaders. -

It stands for Petroleos Mexicanos. Oil is Mexicos biggest export and PEMEX is the buissness that runs it. -
NAFTA Created
It stands for North American Free Trade Agreement. Because this was approved, Mexico has doubled its trade.
