[End Goal] Graduate College Without any Debt
I would like to graduate college in four years without any debt, so I will save a total of $40,000 by cutting some things out of my budget such as bus fares and extra groceries, and getting as many scholarships to State as I can. -
Get as Many Scholarships as I Can
The estimated tuition for 4 years at State is about $37,562. (https://www.collegetuitioncompare.com/edu/199193/north-carolina-state-university-at-raleigh/tuition/)
If I can get most or all of that covered by scholarships, I should be set. -
Get a Job
I should be able to pay most or all of my other expenses ( Food, cell phone, etc. ) if I get a good-paying job. -
Walk instead of Drive
Freshmen aren't allowed a car on campus anyway, but I would like to walk on campus in order to save money on other forms of transportation. It will also help me physically by giving me good exercise. -
Spend Less Money on Groceries
I don't have a huge food palette in terms of things I will eat, but with what I do eat, I can stay healthy and not spend as much on groceries. I can also save money by not eating out as much. -
Spend the Least Amount Possible on Entertainment
Most of the hobbies I enjoy are free, like listening to music on YouTube and talking to people on other sites. I can use some of the things I already have for sewing, and try to find free options for any shows or video games I might want to enjoy.
