Birth
I was born at around 9 o'clock am at Provena Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Illinois. -
My first memory
I was crying in my crib and my mom was telling my sister to go downstairs and eat. -
Entry to Kindergarten
I was four years old, and I remember being so annoyed that I didn't have time to myself anymore. This boy got an education. -
I started learning Russian
I decided I liked the language and that I wanted to learn it. -
I won the math bowl
I got three first place ribbons: one for the team competition, one for the school individual competition, and another for the overall district individual competition. -
I joined band
I decided to play the euphonium since they said it had a melodic tone and I would get to play a lot of melodies. Boy were they wrong. -
I recieved an invitation letter to SCET.
I was so excited because of all the stories my sister had told me about her SCET class. -
I was granted the WASD 129 Excellence Award
"For being a model Fearn student. You continue to inspire your fellow students and your teachers. Your hard work and dedication are excellent examples of what it means to be a student in District 129." -
I kinda won the math bowl - again
Two first place ribbons for the school individual and the team competitions, and one second place ribbon for the overall district individual. -
I graduated from Elementary School
I remember I nearly forgot my euphonium on the stage. -
I started learning French
The language coordinator had me take a test, and I was forced to start French on Middlebury Interactive. -
I switched to playing the tuba
I was the only person who actually wanted to play it in my class. -
I went to Japan
It was the most amazing experience in my life. I still can't fully comprehend that I went over there. -
Period: to
I went to the IMSA promise program for 7th grade.
-
I was honored in the Herget Solo/Ensemble Festival
Alongside Abi Dietlin, Adolfo Alcarez, and Alex Limong, we practiced long and effectively enough to be honored by the judge. -
I started private lessons on the tuba
My dad got me a tutor by the name of Victor Anderson to help me improve my playing. -
I audition for the Marmion/Rosary Band
-
I apply to Marmion Academy
I want to go there because I don't want to go to IMSA because I don't want a STEM job, and I don't want to go to West High because I think I could be challenged more at Marmion. I'll probably be the only non-white person there. -
Period: to
I go to the IMSA promise program for 8th grade.
-
I take an academic exam to get into Marmion
-
I apply to the Chicago Symphony Youth Orchestra
I will apply in the spring with auditions, and I will be the best tubist they've ever seen. -
I go to St. Louis for the band competition
I will be playing the tuba and I will be the best that I can possibly be at it, and our school will win. -
I graduate from Middle School
Hopefully with some sort of honor. -
Period: to
I go to the IMSA promise program for 9th grade.
-
I get on the honor roll
Hopefully the top tier. They have like five tiers of honor roll. -
I have a crisis about if I actually like Marmion
It's just inevitable. -
I get a driver's license
-
I go to Disney World in Orlando for Band
They do it once every four years. -
I get my first job
Probably working at a McDonald's or something. -
I go to college
Haha still haven't figured out which one, but I want to go to a music school -
I graduate from High School
Again, hopefully with some kind of honor. -
I legally drink for the first time.
I don't want a huge birthday celebration, but I'll still drink. -
I join the Marine Corps
I want to do it only for four years so that I can become a member of the US Army Field Band. -
Graduate from college
I have no idea how long it's going to take, so I'll just say it'll take four years for the sake of simplicity. -
I audition for the President's Own Marine Band
Again, they'll hear me and they'll decide that I'm better than Mozart. -
I get married.
Not sure to whom or what gender or if I get married to a pig in Germany. But I'll get married eventually. Hopefully. -
I leave the Marine Band
I'll be sad, but their age limit is 34. They need that band looking young. -
I buy my own house
I'll do it right after I leave the Marine Band. It'll be in Chicago, probably. -
I buy a car by myself
There's no way that my first car would actually be purchased by myself. At least a dollar or something would come from my dad. -
I get a cat
I need a cat, but whoever my spouse might be might make me get a dog. -
I join the Chicago Symphony Orchestra
They'll say I'm a tuba god. -
I go to Russia
As soon as I can take a vacation from Aurora, I'm going to Russia. -
I have children
They'll be annoying, but once I have a stable career, I'll be able to afford them. -
I inexorably get diabetes or arthritis
The former runs in the family and the latter is just an old person thing I guess. -
I retire from my job at the CSO
-
I move back to Sugar Grove
I love it where I live. -
I become a sectional teacher at WASD 129
Hopefully at Jewel. -
I have grandchildren.
I guess I'll have to decide what to do with them too. -
I pay off my student loan debt
It'll be the last thing I do. I'm also going to die this day. One of these will be my tombstone.
