The Bill of Rights were a set of rights that US citizens would receive. They were twelve rights that were written after the constitution. They were also included in amendments 1-10. -
Louisiana Purchase
The Louisiana purchase was the purchase of Louisiana territory. The United states bought 828,000 square miles of LA from France. The price was about 15 million dollars,and 2-3 cents per acre. -

Lewis and Clark's mission was to explore the unknown. They also wanted to confirm their soverignty in that region. Through this, the also endured trades with the Natives, and adventures. -
Indian Removal Act
The Indian removal act was signed into law by president Andrew Jackson in 1830. This act allowed Indians to be removed from their homes by the US. Many chose to fight for soverignty, and others were forced out and accepted it. -

Trail of Tears
Due to President Jackson's Indian removal act law, all Indians were forced out of their homes. They were sent to migrate to an area of present day, in Oklahoma. -
Flordia becomes a state
This was when Florida was annexed. Florida was claimed as a state. Florida was initially a slave state, but soon developed a better population of black and white people. -
Mexican- American War
The Mexican- American war was during 1846 to 1848. This war was a big conflict of 'Manifest Destiny". That was basically a beleif that America had a destiny, to expand the country's borders from sea to shining sea. -
Transcontinential Railroad
This was the first railroad in America that was built. It traveled east to west.
