    The Louisiana Purchace happened when Napolian was low on money because of a war France was currently in. Napolian decided it was best to sell all of the land to America. This nearly doubled the size of America.

    The Expedition, sent by Thomas Jefferson, was to explore the newly bought land from France. This land was un-explored and many things needed to be maped out. When Lewis and Clark retuned in 1806, many things were discovered.

Jhon Adams, a Wealthy, Famous, Educated Elite, and Andrew Jackson, a Common man, were in the lead and Andrew had the most votes, but didn't have more than 50% of america's votes. The House of Representatives then got to choose who the president was going to be and they chose Adams.

Jackson ran as "The People's Presedent", and he would be in favor of the common man, he won this election easily.
