  • Naturalization Act

    This act was naturalization for whites only

  • Denied Citizenship

    African Americans were denied citizenship.

  • African Americans

    African Americans get guaranteed citizenship when the 14th Amendment to the constitution is ratified in the wake of reconstruction.

  • Indian Citizenship Act

    This granted citizenship to all American Indian & Alaska Native people.

  • Naturalization Act for Asians

    This act granted naturalization for all Asians.

  • McCarren- Walter Act

    This act removes all racial barriers to Naturalization.

  • Hawaii became a U.S. state

    Hawaii became U.S. state and its natives got U.S. citizenship. Many were Pacific Islanders & Native Americans. Which brought over 630,000 people.
