    The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
    This event lit up all of the following events up to WWII. Without this event, WWI would have most likely either not happened or been delayed. Without this event, Canada wouldn’t have had to go to war and lose millions of Canadian lives. If WWI was to not happen that would mean that Canada would not have to go through the great depression. Without this event happening the warfare as we know it wouldn’t be the same. Multiple warfare technological advancements started with WWI.

    Treaty of Versailles
    The treaty of Versailles was put in place. If it weren’t for the treaty of Versailles the Germans would have never lost territory and wanted to take it back, and wanted other rules to change. The Germans obviously wanted a change and they weren't about to ask for it, they wanted to do the change themselves. When Hitler came to power with all the anger he and his fellow Germans had, it all went downhill, and eventually, WWII happened which happened to be one of the most revolutionary wars.

    This event relates to my theme because it is not only the second world war but it is a very revolutionary war and revolutionary event in the world in general. During WWII, new technologies such as radar, computers, and penicillin were developed. During WWII, new technologies such as radar, computers, and penicillin were developed. The atomic bomb is one of the most famous World War II innovations.

    End of WWII
    The end of WWII is a historical event in modern warfare. WWII was the deadliest, and biggest war in history. 45, 400 Canadian’s, died in the war. The second World War had more than 30 countries involved. Multiple new weapons were introduced into warfare after this war. This war also contributed heavily to the modern warfare that we know.
