    Finally, the Nationalist side won the war so Franco the leader of the Nationalist side, Franco, rule Spain and start the Franquism.
  • The beginning of World War II

    World War II was a global military conflict that began in 1939. It involved most of the nations of the world, including all the great powers, grouped into two opposing military alliances: the Allies consisting mainly of the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, China and The United States and axis formed mainly by Germany, Italy and Japan.

    On August 6, 1945, during World War II (1939-45), an American B-29 bomber dropped the world's first deployed atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion wiped out 90 per cent of the city and immediately killed 80,000 people.
