the young ladies wore a gress in a ball gown with a low, round, off the shoulder bodice in the polonaise style, edged with a frill. on the bodice, is a an overskirt, short in the front hanging down and looped up ont he sides and bunched on the back. the underskirt is long and trialed. the lace sleeves are laced and puffed. -
lady in a day dress
a walking day dress had a jacket bodice with a long basque forming the overskrt. the waistcoat had a v-neckline filled in with a chemisette which is fitted with a high ruffle collar. the sleeves are three quarter and fitted tight to the elbow and ending with large cuffs. the long train over the skirt is caught over the sides and the front falls into pleated draperies. usually worn with gloves and a fan. -
ladies in sailor and princess styles
this style included a high necked jacket type bodice that is hip level at the front and sides. it has a three tailed basque with the centre tail turned back and fastened low centre back. both jackets are decorated with bottons and two rows of trimming for a sailor collar. the sleeves are close fitted and cuffs are trimed. the skirt has a tie back fanned out skirt. -
ladies in walking out dresses
ladies wore a high hip jacket bedice encircled at the wrist with a buckle belt and buttoned from neck to hem. the decolletage filled in with a frilled collar with lace is v shaped and the shawl type covers the shoulders. the sleeves are elbow lenght and have a turned back cuff with a ruffle of lace. -
ladies in evening gowns
ladies wore a bodice with a square cut decolletage, high at the back of the neck. it is corset-shaped, moulded to the hips and the ends in an inverted v-sahped front. the sleeves went to the elbows and ended with ruffles. the skirt is long and trained and the overskirt was decorated with large bows down the front. the gown is decorated with tassel and buttons. -
lady in tailored dress and waisted jacket
the female is clothed in a tailor made jacket with a matching skirt. the jacket is closelt fitted espeacially by the hips and has wide revers and collar. the tight sleeves end at the wrist with turned back cuffs. there is a lace collar with dangling ends. the skirt is draped caught up by the sides slightly trained and decorated with fringing. it was worn with a hat, gloves, and a parasol. -
gentlemen in evening wear
the gentlemen had a dresscoat evening suit. the square cut coat is fairly close fitting with a narrow low-rolled collar jooining the self-faced revers which was streched almost to the hem at the front. the skirts are narrow at the bottom. the sleeves are close fitted with a turnback cuff with buttons to decorate. can be worn with plain white gloves. -

ladies wore the cuirasse bodice with the plastron in a different color. the decolletage is a square cut and surrounded by a deep lace collar high in the back and falling over the shoulder. the sleeves are elbow lenght ending with a frilled ruffle. the overskirt is drawn up at the sides and draped at the back. the dress is decorated with ribbon bows and lace. wears suede gloves and carries a fan. -
lady is bustle dress skating costume
ladies wore a high hip lenght jacket close fitting to the waist long in the front and up at the back over the bustle. it is close to the neck and fastened from the neck to the hem with briaded frogging. it is trimmed with fur around the neck down the front and around the hem. the sleeves are close fitted with a kick up on the sholders then long to the wrist with a fur cuff. the skirt is draped with kilted skirts over the bustle. gloves are suede and carries a small muff and wear skates on feet. -

a girls wears a smock embroidered dress which is losse fitted and comes just below the knee lenght. the neck is closed with a narrow turned down collar. the waist is very wide ribbon sash tied into a bow at the back with long dangling ends.
others wear a jacket bodice with a small basque. the skirt is long to the ankles and pleated towards the back. she wears a small crowned brimmed hat trimmed with ribbon. -
children-boy
the boy dresses in a sailor suit with blouse and knickerbockers. the blouse has a v shaped opening that reveals a vest and a flat collar. it is decorated with a braid. the knickerbockers fall to just below the knee. he is wearing knitted stockings and ankle boots.
another boy wears a blazer, has a eton collar and long narrow trousers. on his head is a boater hat. -
ladies' evening dresses
ladies wear a dress with a plain skirt edged with two narrow frills at the hem the back set in fluted pleats. it is made in crimped wool crepon with bands of velvet as ornamentation. a fan shaped puffs of sleeves are pleated into the armholes and end just above the elbows with a band of velvet. decellage is trimmed with the velvet which fastens on one side of in a bow. she wears a bangle -
lady in lounge gown with children
the gown worn at home is mad ein velveteen and lace with an overdress of cashmere. the velvetten uper portion that is the yoke and long bishop sleeves are made separated and mounted on a short waisted lining reaching just below the armholes. the overdress is cut square both back and front fastening on each shoulder beneath ribbon shoulder strap. the back is close fitting with ordamented piping to the front. -
ladies winter costumes
ladies wear a long overcoat which commends with a neat figure. the coat is ordamented with stiching and rounded on the cuffs and collar points. it is double breasted fastened with six large buttons. sleeves are cut in a plain peice of shoulders. each sleeeve seam is decorated with stitching. the collar and neck tie of satin with dropping points set off the coat nicely. the ladiy's toque is of fine white felt and threded through a net of black chenille clasped with jet.
