Identify Students
Identify English Language Learners in Year 7 CVA and Year 5 JCH. Including but not only ESOL learners. -
Survey students to determine their preferences for learning

Allow collaboration time for teachers and students setting up and instruction of our zoom conferencing

Building Vocabulary Wall
Get student's voice on which words they are not familiar with in digital technology applications eg: competencies -
Introduction of innovation
Introduce students to zoom and SeeSaw through intentional targeted teaching. Download apps on devices. -
Create and Explain Visual Cues
Presented on learners desk or workspaces to avoid language barriers and reinforce digital vocabulary. -
Create online opportunity for older and younger kids to use platform
Zoom session where Year 7 class will show the Year 5 students their vocabulary learning and how they have presented it on SeeSaw. Learners will be permitted to communicate certain words in their own language to encourage better understanding. -
Present rubric for peer assessment for goal achievement on Zoom
Did the younger children learn from older peers using zoom and apps such as SeeSaw? What would they like to try next?
