Lesson 2: Immigration and Industrialization in the late 1800's/ early 1900's
As we all know Immigration and Industrialization was the start of segregation, separation, and limitations. There were 3 key groups that were talked about in these excerpts which include, Mexican's, Chinese and the Europeans. Industrialization was the start of Immigration, children being over worked with low pay and Long hours with low pay. Immigrants were'nt allowed to enter the country legally, but the ones who did enter they had jobs and were paid less than the average American. -
Lesson 3: Global Connections and Document/ Visual Analysis (Imperialism)
In Lesson 3, there were two subjects that were gone over that have some comparison. The Global Connections was about 10 nations that the U.S. intervened within the late 1800s and early 1900s. This all comes down to imperialism. The second subject was Visual Anaylis which was about political cartoons and what it had to do with Imperialism. -

Globalization is known as the economic process, tarriffs, taxes, or increasing wealth. Globalization was forced amongst most people. But Globalization could also be a good thing, for instance, technology: Apple was the biggest thing back then. Walmart is the largest global corporation in the world and At &T. -

Lesson 10: Americanization
Americanization is the U.S influence andi t's popular for culture, buisness, political techniques , and etc. Americanization started early on and resulted into Globalization. Americanization was suppose to be a positive thing but of course people abuse their right annd turns people into Globalization. -
Lesson 5,5
The 1920's was era of good times and bad times.The good times started early and was the named "The Harlem Reninsance. The Harlem Renisance consited of Jazz Music, Cars, Radio, Speakeasy's, flappers, baseball and much more. These times got a little to fun and people were blinded by the fact of the economy was going to dimenish. The Great Depression was a rough time for America and Herbert Hoover didn't make it any better. Thankfully, FDR saved America by fixing banks, & help the unemployed. -
Lesson 6.4 Timetoast, World War 2
The end of Pearl Harbor became the beginning of World War 2. World War 2 was known as the most deadliest War of all times. This war involved more than 30 countries and with that being known 50 million civilians and military soldiers were killed. The War was between the Allied and Axis. This was a hard time for the Americans, some soldiers that were hit didn't actually die but certain places they were hit in resulted to amputation. This hurt America financially, physically, and mentally. -
Lesson 6.4 Timetoast, Pearl Harbor
As we all know Americans were Isolationist and Japan and America were already going at it but not on a violent level.. The Japanese, on the other hand, Japan provoked the Americans. They wanted there natural resources and Expansion in the Pacific.This attack was unexpected and hurt the Americans in so many ways. Since the attack was on a Naval Base battleships, airplanes, and 2,000 Americans killed. In arresult this took America out of Isolation and then began World War 2. -
Lesson 8.5, Civil Rights Movement
The CRM was the turn of the century and was during and apart of the Cold War. Racism, White supremacy and Segregation didn't just start in the 50 - 70s, it started during the slave years. Major events happened during the CRM, some Controversial, some bad and some good. One of the leaders Dr. Martin Luther King who lead the CRM and tried to keep violence happening any longer. African Americans were put through so much and the hate wouldn't stop. Unfortunately, this racism still goes on. -
Lesson 8.4, The Feminist Party
Back then Women and the time before then women were known for being the "House Wife" or the "stay at home mom." Women got sick and tired of being known as just that, they wanted to do more things, they wanted to be apart of the workforce like any other man. This is what started the Feminist party and these stereotypes still are going on till this day, the feminist party goes on around the world to this day as well. -

Ronald Reagan was the oldest President in the History of Presidents. There were so many controversal things that occured during his presidency including, the crack epidemic, trickle down economics, Iran Contra Deal, taking down the Berlin Wall, and etc. -

Lesson 9: Bill Clinton
Bill Clinton, the first Baby Boomer and World War 2 born child to ever become president. Out of all the presidents Bill Clinton has the most scandals and most known controversies and still was able win the second term. The first allegation was the weed scandal which he sort of denied by saying "I didn't inhale it" , the white water controversy, the Lewinsky Scandal, and etc.
