The Titanic was designed to be the fastest ship designed in that time, it was also though to be unsinkable. Untiil April 15th when the ocean liner collided with an iceberg and slowing capsized. -

World War 1 was started when Gavrilo Princip assassinates Franz Ferdinand, soon after Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia. Throughout the war there was major battles some were the battle at Marne,Verdun, and Somme. -

The Great Depression was the harshest and long lasting economic downturn in American History. The Great Depression began when the stock market crashed in October 1929 destroying many investors. -

The Dust Bowl was a massive drought in the 1930s that brought huge dust storms over all farms in the Great Plains. Dust storms wrecked havoc on, cattle, pasture land and farms. -

The Cold War was a technological and economical struggle between two super powerful countires. The two countires were the United States and the USSR after 45 years the Cold War ended when the USSR gave up. -
Assassination of John F. Kennedy
Shortly after noon on November 22nd John F. Kennedy was assassinated in his open top car by a sniper. JFK was rushed to a hospital where he received treatment but sadly died. The United States was devasted and had many broadcast of sadness about their president. -
Apollo 11
pollo 11 launched from Cape Kennedy on July 16, 1969, carrying Commander Neil Armstrong, Pilot Michael Collins, and module pilot "Buzz" Aldwin. After a smooth takeoff the first man on the moon recited the infamous quote “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” -
Sept. 11, 2001
The September 11th attacks were cooridnated terroist attacks on the United States, the moring of tuesday Sept. 11. The terriost group named al-Qaeda has taken credit for this attacking and several other attacks.
