That people from the New Colany fought back against Britain for their own free rights and freedom. Our first president George Washington was a general in the Revolutionary War. This war ended on September 3rd, 1783. -
Declaration of Independence
When the people who came from Britain made their own law and they all signed their names on it. This was paper they signed on was called the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. -

The Louisiana Purchese is when Thomas Jefferson bought a huge chunk of land from France for 15 million dollars. This land included parts of Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Montanan, Colorado, and more. -

The Industrial Revolution was when the United States transition to new manufactering which means getting better technology for factories and buisnesses. This means quicker creation and faster machinary to make it more effiecient. -

When the Confederate Union tried to leave the Untied States and make their own union because they wanted slavary for tehir cotten produccts. Most of this war was fought on the Confederate side. Abraham Lincoln was the president who led us in this war and also winning this war. -
World War I
When the U.S entered war we joined the Allies agianst the Central Powers Germany, Austria Hungary, Bulgaria, and Ottoman Empire. We helped Britain, France, Italy, and Russia win the war against the Central Powers. -

Malcolm X was a lot like Martin Luther King in a way. One thing Malcolm and Martin Luther King haddifferent was the fact that Malcolm X was using violent protesting whilte Martin Luther King had peaceful protesting. -
Great Depression
The Great Depression was when the stock market crashed and most people were poor because they put all their money in stocks. Now only some people were rich and had jobs. We got out of the Great Depression because of World War II because the U.S could make money from it. -
Dust Bowl
The Dust bowl was when land in the Midwest was without minerals and had no plants so the soil flew into the air to make dust storms. This was the cause of a drought and people using all the mineralds in the soil. -
World War II
In World War II we entered because Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and we joined the Allies like last war. Now Germany was back and had even more power thanks to Hitler. The other side was called the Axis Powers which was Italy and Germany. Russia was with the Axis Powers until Hitler tried to take over Russia. Hitler was greedy and wanted more land to himself but he failed to take over Russia. -
Cold War
The Cold War was when the United States try to beat Russia in a race to space. Russia won this race but very little. The United States and Russia had equal amount of power but then Russia tried a Industrial Revolution that failed and Russia collapsed from this power. -
Korean War
The Korean War was when North Korea crossed hte 38 parrel border to attack South Korea. The United States helpec South Korea but then the U.S called a truce and things changed to what happened before the war. -
Vietnameese War
The Vietnam war was the longest war in United States history and at the end of the war more than 3 million people died fighting in the war. In total there were 3 presidents in this war Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, and Richard Nixon. -

When Terrorists came and attacked the Pentagon and the Twin towers. Many people died this day and some of the people who planned this were caught and but in jail. There is now a memorial dedicated to the victums of 9/11.
