The Sons of Liberty was created in around 1765. The group was made of American patriots who were tired of the mistreatment of the colonists by Britain. The Sons of Liberty were located in Boston, Massachusetts. Sons of LIberty was a group of patriots in North America trying to protect the rights of the colonists from the British. The British parliament and King had been unfairly taxing just the colonists and not the British living in England. -

The Townshend Acts was an idea thought up by Charles Townshend that Parliament passed. These acts took place in the British colonies in North America. The Townshend Acts laws made to raise revenue. This revenue was needed to pay the salries of governors, judges, and other officials. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was a bloody event between the Red Coats (British Soldiers) and angry colonists. this event took place in Boston, Massachusetts. The Boston Massacre was an event where 5 colonists were killed 6 were woounded by Red Coats. The Massacre happened because there had been tension between the Red Coats in Boston and the colonists. Also, the colonists had been taunting the soldiers. -

The Commitee of Correspondance was formed in 1772 in Boston, massachusetts. The Commitees of Correspondance was made up of members of the sons of liberty, patriots, and other colonists. The commitee was used as a way of deciding action against Britain. -

The Tea Act was created by the British Parliament in England. The Act was in the british colonies in North America. This act was a tax on tea. This act was the final spark to the movement to start a revolution because only the colonists were taxed and not the British. This act was used to help the East India Company which had been declining. -

The people involved in the Boston Tea Party were American patriots against Parliament. The Boston Tea Pary took place in Boston Harbor in Boston, Massachusetts. The Intolerable acts ocurred in mainly 1774.The Intolerable Acts were set into place by the British onto the people of Massachusetts. The Intolerable Acts were set into place as a way to punish Boston, Massachusetts for the Boston Tea Party. -
First Continental Congress
The First Continental Congress met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was made up of delegates from 12 colonies (the only colony that wasn't there was Georgia because they wanted help and protection from the Indians from the British). The First Continental Congress was a conention of delegates to dicuss what to do about the Intolerable Acts. The Congress was put into place to protest the Intolerable Acts.
