  • The American Revolution

    The American Revolution was the struggle of 13 colonies against Great Britain. There were many events that caused the American Revoultion, The Stamp Act, The Townshend Act and the Boston Tea Party were all key events. The Revolution officially ended in November 1783 when the last British Troop departed New York.

  • Louisiana Purchase

    The Lousiana Purchus is an event that occurred when President Jefferson send two men, Louis and Clark on an expedition to purchase a large amout of land. While on the expedition they learned new things and also met new people.

  • CIivil War

    The Civil was occurred between 1861- 1865. It was faught over the succession of the confederate states. Eleven Southern Slavery States declared succession from the United States and formed the confederate States of America. After 4 years the confederacy surrendered and slavery was abolished in the U.S,

  • Assassination of Abrham Lincoln

    On April 14, 1865, John Wilkes Booth, killed Abrham Lincoln at a play in Ford's Theater in Washington D.C.

  • The Mannhatten Project

    The Mannhatten project began in 1939. The program was ran by the United States, Canada, and the UK. The project grew to employ 130,000 people and cost the US over 2 billion dollars. It produced the first atomic bomb in WW II.

  • The Vietnam War

    The Vietnam War was a war that lasted many years. The United States got involved to help prevent a communist take over of South Vietnam. The U.S. sent troops over to Vietnam in 1965. The war officially ended in April 1975. Over one million people lost their lives with 58,220 of those being US service members.

    The Apollo 11 moon landing was a very impotant time in our nations history. It's when 3 impotant men were launched to the moon for a confirmed landing.
