The Communist of Vietnamese caught a US spy ship spying on them and we ordered them to give the spy ship back, but they did not have to give it back but were cornered by the US, but did not surrender. This lead to the US being heavley in the Vietnam War, but did not stay involved for the duration of the War. -

The Watergate Break-ins
The Watergate Break-ins or the Watergate Scandal was a break-in by the NIxon Admistraion, which were caught attempting to wire tape calls and steal top secret documents for Nixon's reelcetion campaign. The Nixon Admiinstration attempted, and eventually failed to hide this break-in from the US and the press. -
Nixon’s Resignation
After the Watergate Break-in, there were grounds for Nixon to be impeached, so instead of taking his mpeachment, he resigned from office. -
