Resolution as in, "this is what we are going to do", not as in "things were resolved." Started US involvement in Vietnam War. -

People broke into the Watergate hotel, where campaign stuff was being run from. Resulted in an impeachment trial being run on president Nixon. -
The invention of the Internet
The internet was originally created for government and military purposes. They wanted to find a way to communicate even if a bomb were to wipe out the telephone cables. Creation of TCP. -
Nixon’s Resignation
Nixon resigns just eighteen months into his second term. Resignation was likely caused by the impeachment investigation. -
