This proclimation did not allow colonist to settle west of the appalachian mountains. The british government feared the conflict between colonist and native americans would lead to
another war. They also could afford to pay british troops to defend the western lands. Colonist were enraged by this proclimatin because they felt they had won the right to settle in ohio river vally after winning the french and indian war. -

Quartring act
Parliment passed the quartering act in 1765, and there was a cost that was saving measure to recuire colonist to quarder or house british soilders. -

carls townshend told parliment that they had an idea to rise revenue in the colonies. The plan that he had was known as the townshend acts. The first of the townshend acts suspended newyorks assembely until new york agreed to provide housing for the troops. -

This was the first battle of the revolutionary war. This was known famous because of a shot heard around the world. The british had almost 700 troops but the colonist had less but the british kept on calling in more troops. -
