- It prevented the Colonist from saettling west of the Appalaction Mountians.
- To creat relationships with the Native's and the Colonist/Brostish
- This was the first problem between the Mother country/ New England and the colonist.

1.This is a tax on all kinds of paper good such as newspapers, will and ect.
2.This act was protested by many angry colonist. This led to boycotts.
3. As a resulkt of the boycotts they britrish goverment to stop the act. -
Quartering Act
1.This act was to make people provide for the army with food,water,clothing,fuel, ect.
2. This act resentement to the 3rd admendmentof the U.S Consitution.
3. It was basically to responce to gratly increase the defense cost for the French and Indian War -
Writs of Assistance
1.A document that was warrrent for the British goverment to allow trade and navigation laws.
2.The American Colonist started this.
3. It included warrent so the govcerment could search people for smuggled goods -
Townshend Act
- The British put a tax on household items.
- such as glass,tea,lead, paper, ect. 3.It was to help pay of the French and Indian war.

Boston Massacre
- One of the bloodiest striks during the war.
- Organised by the Sons of Liberty.
- Five citizens were shot in the stike.

Tea Act
- The British set taxes on all tea items.
- The BIrish did this to pay off the War.
- This lead up to the colonist dumping all the tea over baord on the ships.

Boston Tea Party
- This was caused because of the tea act in 1773.
- The colonist dressed up as Idians to go dump the tea in the ocean.
- They ended up dumping almost alll of the tea on the importing /exporting ship.

Intolerable Acts
- The goverment gave the colonist the reap of benifits.
- The colonist were pressed even more taxes on random things.
- This made the colonist very angry about these sometimes violent acts.

- They met in Philadelphia.
- It was to cut off all trade with Great Britian.... Unless necessary

Concord
- The British sent 700 soliders from Lexington to attack the town.
- There leader was Thomas Gage.
- They were Planing to aresst John Adams and John Hancock, because they were 2 key leaders for the patriot movment.

- Most of Washington's troop died wither of satrvation, deisease and frost bites.
- Washington decided to move his troops without the British knowing. 3.a French volenteer Marquis De Lafayette helped train Washingtons Army during this time.

- On October 17th Cornwallis surendered.
- James Armistead was a spy for George Washington
- Last battle and we won are Independence on the battle.
