Had many individual acts such as the Quartering Act where British soldiers were allowed to be quartered in the colonists houses. Another act passed by the Intolerable act was that the british closed off all the Boston Ports until all the tea had been paid for and restored. -
Declaration of Independence is Adopted
In Philedelphia, Pennsylvania the decleration was written by Thomas Jefferson and signed by 56 other people. It was a document adopted so everyine would know that each of the colines are independent. Thanks to this, it helped the us think our country's future by having us think about new examples of freedoms and to create equality.
