    Also invented by Eli Whitney, Interchangeable Parts was an idea that popped in Whitney's head when he was creating guns for the government even though gunmaking is very difficult, so he thought it was too much to keep making more guns when you can just fix the part that is broken.

    The steamboat was invented by Robert Fulton when Fulton discovered how to use a steam engine power a boat. This invention proved to be very useful in transportation because it could take boats not only down stream, but up stream as well
  • Mechanical Reaper

    Mechanical Reaper
    The mechanical reaper was invented by Cyrus McCormick, so people had a faster and easier way to cut and collect their harvest from the fall. The machine is pulled by a horse to power it.

    Telegraph and Morse Code
    The telegraph and morse code was invented by Samuel Morse, so it was easier to communicate. This invention was typically used to make fast messages through a wire. Morse code was created because the invention did not transfer voice and sound, but beeps that the interpretor and receiver could understand.

    This invention was invented by John Deere because when settlers were moving out west they noticed the soil and ground got harder which broke the wooden plows, so Deere created a more durable and stronger plow made out of steel. Deere's family would create more inventions for yard work in the future.

    The 13th amendment was ratified which granted the freedom of slaves and a mission accomplished by abolitionist to rid of the cruelty of slavey. This amendment was done after the Civil War with the North and South pitted against each other.

    After many years of fighting for the right to vote during the Women's Suffrage years, women finally got the right to vote under the lead of Susan B. Anthony.
