This is when the French Revolution started. This event was a great influence for the start of the Haitian Revolution. Its tipping point was the storming of the Bastille. -

Jaccques Vincent Oge led a revolt agaisnt white authorities. He gets 300 men armed with weapons. They were outnumbered and overpowered. Oge manages to escape. -

The slaves all agree on setting on fire the plantations and escaping. There were slave leaders that took control of the others. After that, the revolution started. -
