Eastern and Western Christianity Split
Around the 4th century was when the split between the East and Wests' Christianity began, it started with the Western church translating the Greek Bible into Latin. This was change since Christianity was a single religion at first but the seperated into two different forms. One difference was that Orthodox, Eastern, priests could marry but Western priests could not at the time. -

Western Europe arose from the fall of the Roman Empire and had already adopted their own form of Christianity. Western and Eastern Christianity both had the same bases in the Bible but had different ideas of how life should be. This is a change since it had a different form of religion and it also rose from an old civilization. -

Muhammad recieved his first revolation in 610 CE. His revolation lead to him writting the Qur'an, which was the teachings of Muhammad that he would begin to preach. This is change because it lead the the creation of a new religion. -

Abbasid conquest of Arab Empire
In 750 was the Battle of the River Zab, which was a battle between the Muslim rebels, the Abbasid, and the reigning empire, the Umayyads. The Abbasid was comprised of Muslims and was supported by non-Arab Muslim converts and the Shi'a, who rejected the Umayyad. When the Abbasid won the Battle, the conquered the Arab Empire and made it the Islamic Empire, which is a very big change. -

Western Architecture
Initially, buildings in Western Europe followed Roman models, the style of building was called Romanesque. Though there was a new architectual style that was developed, called Gothic, which included soaring church spires and tall, arched windows, the new style was used almost exclusively for churches. This is change since, for one, Gothic architecture was brande new to the world, and two, the Western civilization itself, went from Roman architecture to Gothic. -

The time is just a time within the Western Empire's reign, close to the peak of the civilization. The medieval Western Empire civilization excelled in religious art. Painters in the West would use religious topics almost exclusively as subjects for their paintings. They would also make stained glass art, which was an artistic revolution in itself. This is change since not many other civilizations even used Religious beings as topics for paintings. -

Most literature and music in mideval Western Europe focused on religious interests. Overall, in Western Europe, there was little written literature, most literature was spoken, which forced the civilization to develop spoken languages, and many different areas had different languages. This was change since spoken languages were developed largely then. -
Eastern Europe art
This time is just a time during Eastern Europe's life span. Eastern Europe had developed art and architecture early in the civilization's life. The main art style used was icon paintings, which were paintings of religious figures, and the architecture used was Roman architecture. This is continuity since through the empire's lifetime, it was the same architecture style and art style. -
Allowance of Islam
In 628 was when Muslims were finally allowed to visit the shrine in Ka'ba. This event allowed many more people to convert to be Muslim. This is change because at first, Muslims were not allowed to visit Ka'ba at all. -
Islamic achievements in Sciences
Rough estimate, this is sometime in the Islamic civilization time period. Jewish scholars that lived in Muslim lands made many scientific advances during this time. This was change since there were many different that were discovered or worked on by Jewish scholars. Such accomplishments were corrections to algebraic and geometric theories that the anchient Greeks cam up with.
