Christopher Columbus lands in Hispañola
Christopher Columbus, after exploring Cuba and the Bahamas, reached an island which is Hispaniola today. When they had landed Santa Maria became grounded and built a fort with the broken wood. He told 40 of his men to wait for his return there and wait for his return, but when he does the fort is destroyed and everyone was gone. -
