    The NCLB was passes by congress in 2001 and was then signed by President George W. Bush on January 8, 2002. It is now referred to as the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. In 2015 Congress passes the Every Student Succeeds Act that replace the NCLB to the ESSA. Each state must Test all students in grade3 to 8th and report the finding in the category of the NCLB.
