    In the Cival War, the north and the south were the two rivals. Linclon was president when the war started and he was very smart about how he approached things. The North eventually won and the nation started working on reconstruction.
  • Lincoln's Assassination

    President Linclon was assassinated at Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C by John Wilkes Booth. Lincoln was shot behind the ear and he died the morning after he was shot. John Wilkes Booth escaped out of the back of the theatre. His horse was waiting for him when he came out.

    The Chinese Exclusion Act was an act passed to bann Chinese immigrants from entering the United States for many years. The act was passed because white Americans were scared that immigrants would take all of their work.
