    It was when machine guns and poisonous gases were used for the first time. the war was between the cenral powers verses the Allies. The allies were France, Great Britain, and Russia. the Central powers were Germany, Austria, and Hungary.

    The Roaring twenties is when their began to be flappers or woman who smoked and drank, bootleggers or people who sold alcohol from other countries, and speakeasies or underground clubs. The harlem Renaissance was in the twenties when the black people became involved in all kinds of art. Womans sufferage was in the twenties adn it was when womwn couldn't vote.

    The stock market crashed making prices dropp substancialy. When many peole begsn to take all of there money out of the bank the banks forclosed. Buisnesses laid off many people and they went bankrupt. The dust bowl destroyed many crops.

    The new weapons were Jet/Rocket aircrafts and heavy metal tanks. It was during the Atomic Age which was when the U.S. dropped bombs on Japan. During the war Germany, Italy,and Japan were known as the Axis of Powers.

    The Japenese made a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. They wanted to control the whole pacific so they sent jets to bomb it.

    The war was between South Korea who was aided by the U.S and North korea who was aided by Russia. The war lasted from 1950 to 1953 and ende in a draw.

    A war between Vienam and the U.S. trying to avoid a spread of comunism. Over three million died and the U.S. withdrew from the war.
  • Gulf War

    Iraq invaded Kuwait so in response the U.S. waged the war with a mission called desert storm. The war began on August 2, 1990 and ended on February 28, 1991. After fighting for under a year the U.S. defeated Iraq.

    On September 11, 2001 their was a terrorist attack on New York City. It ws when a group of terrorists hijacked planes and crashed them intothe Twin Towers. Many died and the towers were destroyed.
