    Even though the Plymouth Rock isn't that amazing, it it still a huge part of our history. As the Pilgrims moved the rock would move with them as a tradition. Ever since then it is a big part of our history.

    The Industrial Revolution was from about 1760-1820 with no exact date when it started, it just kept growing. The Industrial Revolution is known for changing people's life by making new machines.

    The stress started rising when the Great Britain Government and the U.S. Government were not getting along. By the next summer the war started, and later the U.S won the war.

    The Declaration of Independence was basically our ticket to having freedom in our country. Ever since then we have celebrated gaining our independence on The Fourth of July.

    The Louisiana Purchase was a land deal between the U.S. and France. The U.S. gained about 827,000 square miles of land in this deal.

    The Civil War started with the South or the Confederate wanting freedom. Then the North or the Union wanted the country to stay united and together. They had a war from 1861-1865 and later the Union ended up winning and the country stayed united.
  • Emancipation Proclamation

    Emancipation Proclamation
    President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, as the nation approached its third year of bloody civil war. The proclamation declared that all slaves shall be free.
  • First Car Made

    The first Car was made on January 1st 1879 and tested for non working parts. It was shortly sold after a few weeks of testing.

    World War I was widely known as the first known global war. WW1 was a global war centered in Europe that began on July 28th 1914 and lasted until November 11th 1918.

    The Great Depression was a horrible time in the United States. It was a time where lots of people couldn't find jobs and money was almost useless. Kids would play with the money as building blocks sometimes.

    The Dust Bowl started in the 1930 and was also a very bad time for part of the U.S. All of the Dust ruined people's crops and farmland and made people have to flee their homeland.

    World War 2 was the second global war but had more advanced guns and technology. The U.S. got involved after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.

    The Cold War had no certain date but spread really fast. The Cold War was a state of political and military tension after World War II between powers in the Western Bloc and powers in the Eastern Bloc.

    First Moon Landing
    The first man on the moon was Neil Armstrong. While on the moon he said the famous quote "This is one small step for man and one giant leap for Mankind.
  • September 11th 2001

    9/11 was an attack led by Osama Bin Laden. One plane crashed into each twin tower and caused many deaths and a mission from the Seal Team 6 to kill Bin Laden.
