The Reconstruction
From January 1, 1863 to March 31,1877 was the recontruction age. After the Civil War, free African American slaves were given the right to vote for the first time. This era was also a time of bringing the South back to the United States. -
Industrial Revolution
This was a time of new inovation's and creations. There were railroads, steam boats, ships, and more. This was a turning point for America to become the most powerfull nation in the world. -

The war was between 1939 and 1945. The war was fought between the Allied powers and the Axis powers. The first atomic bomb was used on Japan. Around 85 million died in the war. -

Pearl Harbor was a United States Naval base. It was attacked by the Japanese on December 7, 1941. The United States declared war on Japan and later used the atomic bomb on them. -

The Cold War was between 1947 and 1991. The war was fought between the United States and the Soviet Union. This war was basically a war of nuclear weapons. -
Korean War
The Korean War was between june 25, 1950 and July 27, 1953. The War was fought between the United States and the Republic of Korea. The United States did not win. -
Vietnam War
The Vietnam War was between November 1, 1955 and April 30, 1975. The war was fought between North Vietnam and south Vietnam, But the U.S. helped out the South with troups and supplies. -
Gulf War
The Gulf War was between August 2, 1990 and Febuary 28, 1991. The war was fought between the U.N. Coalition Force and Iraq. The U.N. won the battle. -
September 11
Four passenger airlines were hijacked by terriosts. Two airplanes crashed each in to the Twin Toweres, one crashed into the Pentagon, and another crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. 2,996 people died. -
Invasion of Iraq
The invasion of Iraq lasted from March 19, 2003 up to May 1, 2003. The invasion was later known as the Iraq war. It consisted of 21 days of combat operations. The operations consisted of troops from the U.S, U.K, Australia, and Poland
