The Battle of Gonzales
This was the first battle of the Texas Revolution. They were fighting over a cannon. The people who fought were Texas rebels and Mexican Army troops. -
The Siege of Bexar
This battle took place in mid October of 1835. The Texans had successfully beat trained Mexican soldiers and had taken over San Antonio de Bexar. This was major Texas win and boosted their confidence. -
Battle of Concepcion
People in this battle included James Fannin, General Austin, James Bowie, etc. This was a huge victory for the Texas for they had only had 1 death. This was a big boosted in confidence for the Texans. -
Battle of the Alamo
This was a setback for the Texans as all of the soldiers at the Alamo were killed by Santa Anna and the Mexican Army. This battle lasted 14 days. -

Runaway Scrape
The people of Gonzales were forced to abandon their town after news that Santa Anna and his army were on their way. This occured after the Alamo had fallen. Sam Houston had later ordered the town to be burned so that Santa Anna wouldn't gain from it. -
The Goliad Massacre
On Palm Sunday March 27, 1836, three groups of Texans were shot by Mexicans. The Texans were prisoners that were told that they had work, but instead were shot half a mile out of Goliad. One of these Texans was James Fannin.
