Treaties After World War One

  • Treaty of Versailles

    Signed by German leaders. They were then forced to relinquish territories to Belgium, Czechoslovakia and Poland. It also forced Germany to take complete responsibility for initiating World War One.
  • Treaty of Saint-German-en-Laye

    Established the Republic of Austria
  • Treaty of Trianon

    Under the terms of this treaty, Hungary became an independent state.
  • Treaty of Sèvres

    Signed by the Ottoman Empire, which ended the conflict with the Allied Powers. Although shortly after a Turkish war for independence began.
  • Treaty of Lausanne

    The previous war for independence established the new Republic of Turkey, this new republic then signed the Treaty of Lausanne effectively separating themselves from the old Ottoman Empire.
