Boston Tea Party Protesting
Boston Party Party took place when a group of Massachusetts Patriots, protesting the monopoly on American tea importation recently granted by Parliament to the East India Company, seized 342 chests of tea in a midnight raid on three tea ships and threw them into the harbor.Because Britain ruled so harshly and abused the colonists, when they were free they made a very weak government to be sure it would not be too strong and also abuse them. -

The Articles were very weak because
1. there was no President,
2. no court system
3. they could not draft and army
4. it was very hard to pass laws. -
Shays Rebellion
Shays' Rebellion, the post-Revolutionary clash between New England farmers and merchants that tested the precarious institutions of the new republic, threatened to plunge the "disunited states" into a civil war. -

They were planning on fixing the constitution but they ended up jsut writing a new one. -
