Around nine, the captain of the Titanicc orders the nighttime lookouts to keep a sharp eye for icebergs. -
Iceberg Spotted
An iceberg is spotted at 11:40 dead ahead of the Titanic. -

The Titanic gets hit on the starboard side while trying to avoid a head-on collision with an iceberg. -

The lifeboats started to be filled, many were half empty because people wouldn't believe the Titanic could sink. -

Titanic Distress Calls
The Titanic sent distress rockets to a nearby ship, but never recieved an answer. The Californian, another ship, saw the rockets and tried to communicate with a Morse Lamp. Also, the Carpathia immediatley came to the Titanic in answer to the emergency calls-CQD and SOS. -
People Noticing the Boat Sinking
People started to notice the slant of the decks by 1:30 and the radio operators were ordered to save themselves, but they did no such thing and continued to work until the water was so close they had to leave. -
Passengers Jump for Their Life
By 2:05, passengers started to jump for their life when the lifeboats were all gone. -
The Titanic Sinks
At last, the Titanic sinks and the shortly after the Carpathia shows up and rescues any survivors on driftwood or in lifeboats. -
Water Filling Lower Compartments
Sveral minutes after midnight, captain Smith sees water filling several compartments from the crash. He realizes that 5 compartments were filling, and the Titanic was only designed to hold 4 compartments totally filled with water.
