Timothy W. v. Rochester, New Hampshire, School District, 875 F.2d 954 (1st Cir. 1989)

  • Period: to

    Description

In this case, the court rules that school districts must create appropriate educational programs for each child. It also ruled that every child has the right to a free public education despite the severity of their disabilities. This landmark gave parents with children with disability the chance to provide their children with an education. It also helped integrate them back into general classrooms.
