  • The Navigation Act

    The Navigation Act
    The Navigation Act made it so American colonies could not trade with other countries besides England. The colonist did not like the act and found ways to bring in goods. The British Government decided that the act wasn't good and they toke away the act.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    The Proclamation of 1763 was made so that colonies could not expand Westward and was issued by King George III on October 7, 1763, in response to a revolt by the Native Americans. The Native Americans did not like the act. The act was not voided until 1776
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act made so all legal documents had to carry a tax stamp. The colonies didnt like the act and boycotted it which made the British Goverment void the Act
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act was made so the Colonies would have to pay taxes on Sugar and Molasses. The colonist did not like this act and they boycotted, and would not buy sugar. This made the British Government void the act.
  • Townsend Act

    Townsend Act
    The Townsend Act was made to put taxes on everyday items such as paper and glass. The Colonies didnt like the act and boycated making the British goverment veto the act.
